Sandhill Wildlife Refuge has wonderful automobile trails through forests and marshes and observation towers that give you a chance to see a small herd of American bison, white-tailed deer, ruffed grouse, Canada geese, ducks, loons, bald eagles, sandhill cranes, shorebirds, songbirds, hawks and owls. Mangaged by the WI DNR, it is open year round.
