Attention gearheads and racefans!  The Golden Sands Speedway racing season is about to begin!

Currently teams may call the raceway if they wish to schedule a practice time, but the first official practice day is Saturday April 28th 10AM-4PM.  The season opener is set for May 4th with Super Late Models, Super Stocks, Pure Stocks and 4-Cylinders Stocks.

Looking to spend time out of the kitchen this Easter season?  Plenty of great food to be found all around Wood County.

Wednesday April 4th 6:15PM - Messiah in the Passover, a demonstration of how Jesus fulfilled the ancient feast of Passover at the Evangelical Free Church in Wisconsin Rapids.  Open to the public. Sunday April 8th 8:30AM-10AM - Easter Breakfast at Grace Lutheran Chuch in Marshfield. Proceeds for the Youth Group fundraiser.
